Create your own rich, nutrient dense compost right in your backyard without any smell, mess, or pests. James and Caitlyn Minns will walk you through creating a compost bin, and how to use it and maintain it. A combination of lecture, Q&A, and hands-on experience will help you gain the confidence to get your compost bin started. You can have an oasis in your small space. Here to help you design your ideal balcony or patio garden, Permaculture Designer, Caitlyn Minns, will guide you through the logistics of growing in small spaces. In addition to the logistics, you’ll be guided through a meditation to visualize your perfect oasis, which will guide your design. You will leave with knowledge and inspiration to start your small garden journey, a Balcony and Patio Gardening Guide, and a self-watering pot with plants to get you started! (2 hrs.)
